culture is / Simon Alderwick

dead. repeat
prescription
back street blow
job franchise
mob justice cancel
culture marvel
universe post coital
glow they come after
youth to drink its
blood worship the head devour
the tail off grid into
the void blackout
whitewash
dirty
protest into the vein
a highway in
formation
bombing
glass-laced pills that nick
the stomach silver
lining human nature
dog eat dog
the culture
all tongues
nip-tucking eyeball
dead
the culture
I don't owe ya
no one knows a
good god damn the road
you walk follow the voices
when they tell you you are
the chosen
one and one is all it takes
for you to make a god of satan
hell on earth is a slow boil
axe blade burst on your
neck and neck
a crab claw grip on those
you say you love to win
you must beat them
beat out their sentimentality
cos everyone must learn
this hurts me more than it hurts you
as you beat their spirit dead
bring out their dead
culture is
leave a hollow empty cynic you'll be
proud to call your own
