Tarot in London 2025

The tarot has had quite a time in London recently with the launch of two fabulous exhibitions. Both are closing at the end of April and are within walking distance from each other. I recently visited and was quite blown away by the care and attention that went into both exhibitions.

The Warburg Institute allows you to view rare and Historic Tarot Decks with the very exciting bonus of the original artwork from the Thoth Tarot deck. The exhibition takes you on a journey of the tarot and its evolution through the years.

The Atlantis Bookshop features some very old decks and artefacts that will titillate the tarot enthusiast. Including old occult literature, some great copies of the Thoth deck, an original engraved printing plate/lithograph, plus much more that you must see. Most of this collection comes from the owners of the shop themselves, and they have kindly loaned some items out to the Warburg Institute for their exhibition.
